Peter has over 20 years’ experience in corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions, takeoveradvice, capital raisings and corporate and industry restructurings.

Major roles have included:

  • Schroders: Director and Head of Corporate Finance in Queensland;
  • Hambros: Director and Head of Corporate Finance in Queensland; and
  • Ernst & Young: Partner and Divisional Director of Corporate Finance.


Peter has undertaken corporate finance transactions in a wide range of industries, including health, foodservices, agribusiness, manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, resources and transport. Clients have included Queensland Sugar, Queensland Cotton, Aronui Feedlots, GrainCorp, Grainco Australia, Norco Cooperative, Queensland Treasury, Queensland Department of Infrastructure and Planning, Queensland Health and Stanwell Corporation.

Peter has an in depth knowledge and understanding of the Health Care industry through 14 years as a director of St Vincent’s and Holy Spirit Health Limited and 4 years as a director of St Vincent’s Health Australia Ltd from which he retired in March 2009.

Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (FCA) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD). He is a former member of the Gladstone Economic and Industry Development Board and he is a member of the Queensland Sustainable Energy Innovation Fund appointed by the Queensland Government.

Peter is the Executive Director also responsible for providing Probity Advice and Probity Auditing Services to State Government Departments and Government Owned Corporations in many major infrastructure and other projects.

Some recent major projects have included:

  • Queensland Treasury: Sale of Golden Casket Corporation to Tattersalls;
  • Queensland Treasury: Sale of Enertrade’s Gas Assets;
  • Queensland Treasury: Sale of the Wind Power Assets of Stanwell and Tarong;
  • Queensland Treasury: Sale of the State’s interest in the Cairns, Mackay and Brisbane Airports;
  • Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads: Sunshine Coast Transport Corridor;
  • Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads: Moreton Bay Rail Link;
  • Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads: Port of Brisbane Motorway;
  • Queensland Department of Infrastructure and Planning: Wyaralong Dam;
  • Queensland Health: Sunshine Coast University Hospital; and
  • Queensland Health: Central Energy Facility.
