In July 2013, Origin introduced a new corporate advisory service offering, corporate restructuring and turnaround. Peter Allen and Spencer Allen, the principals of Allen Capital, a boutique corporate advisory firm with specialist skills in the areas of corporate restructuring, turnarounds and corporate finance, have joined Origin. Founded in 1998 by Peter Allen, Allen Capital developed a strong track record of successfully assisting companies grow, develop and overcome business transformation challenges. Peter and Spencer’s corporate advisory skills are complementary to Origin’s advisory services.

Corporate restructuring

Corporate restructuring refers to the collection of actions taken by a company or business unit which involves changes to its operational efficiency, its asset/business portfolio and/or its capital and ownership structure.
